Bow-tie pasta with Parsley Cream Sauce

This creamy parsley sauce is so delicious and so simple to make you're going to be shocked at how quickly it comes together and you're going to eat it straight from the pot because its that good!

Ingredients

  • 1- lb Farfelle Bowtie Pasta
  • 1 Cup Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 Tbs Unsalted Butter sliced
  • ½ Tsp Cornstarch optional, but will thicken the sauce and allow it to adhere to the pasta more effectively
  • 2 Tbs Finely Chopped Flat-leaf Parsley
  • Reserve 1 Cup of Pasta water for the sauce
  • Seasoning: Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil Water and Salt (water should taste salty)
  2. Add Pasta to Boiling Water and cook (follow package directions, typically 10-11 mins)
  3. In a separate bowl add the grated Cheese and Cornstarch, toss to combine
  4. Add the Heavy Cream, Sliced Butter to the cheese
  5. When pasta is done cooking, reserve 1 Cup of Pasta Water, drain the pasta and return to pot
  6. Add in the Sauce Mixture, return to low heat and mix until sauce is melted and evenly coats the pasta
  7. Add in the pasta water and mix

  8. Add in the chopped parsley and mix


  9. Taste the pasta and add fresh pepper and salt to taste (this dish does well with a lot of pepper)
