This guacamole dip is a new twist on the traditional recipe! It adds a fun new hint of flavor and a bit of crunch to liven things up!
In a bowl, peel and pit avocado. Mash slightly (so as you add liquid ingredients the dip won't get too watery from over-mixing). Add lemon juice and pomegranate molasses, if using. Mix together until combined well. Stir in remaining ingredients and top with reserved parsley and sumac as garnish.
The pomegranate molasses add an interesting tangy flavor to the recipe, but it does deepen the bright green color of the avocado. So, if you want it to be bright green, then add less molasses or leave it out altogether. Also feel free to substitute any seeds you'd like or leave them out too;-)
